After a short spoon stir, the espresso sip satisfies a wonderful coffee flavor in your mouth. So tasteful that one must return for seconds and perhaps try the lovely deserts like Cannoli!
Not only is the Greco coffee flavor one of the best in Rome, but it has managed to do so for the last 260 years.
What people call “The Yellow café” this shop is decorated with a memorable yellow splashed atmosphere. Although this café doesn’t have as long as a history like Greco, it has been standing bright since 1938 with welcoming coffee vibes.
The long queues in front, actually do not take as much time you would perceive. Similar to most café in Rome your first action is to decide on a drink and dessert at the cashier in order to bring your bill to the café bar. Again, surprisingly fast.
A unique choice is the “Gran caffe” which is a strong-tasting espresso with a smooth foam texture that brings an incomparable sensation in your mouth.
Alternatively, the “Monachella” is an espresso made with intense chocolate (or possibly cacao) and topped with whip cream similar to the “Con panna”. The special thing about “Monachella” is the perfect combination of chocolate flavor without the over sweetness. This is just two example of the many great choices you can order.
